After securing it’s NatWest win earlier this year, Tink has strengthened its commitment to the UK and Irish Market by appointing Stripe’s former head of EMEA banking, Rafael Plantier, as its new country manager for the UK and Ireland. Since launching in Sweden 2012, Tink, one of the leading FinTech Companies has been dedicated to enabling banks, FinTechs and Startups to develop data-driven financial services.
Mr. Plantier will be set with the task of expanding Tink’s UK work which currently includes partnerships with companies like, Klarna, PayPal and NatWest

Tink who are at the heart of FinTech innovation, will attempt to sell the concept to Banks of using one API which lets their customers access aggregated financial data, initiate payments etc.
Natwest has already announced this year that it will partner with Tink to operate the personal finance management features of its UK banking app going forward.
PayPal also revealed its involvement in Tink’s €56m Series D of which Paypal are understood to have taken a sizable €10m chunk of.
FinTech Company Tink has already created many FinTech Jobs and boasts 250 employees globally, Tink now says its API allows connections with more that 2,500 banks across 14 markets like the UK, Sweden, France, Germany and the Netherlands.
